When a problem presents itself, the first thing we need to know is: what’s the real problem? Sometimes the problem on which we’re focusing is the consequence of another problem. It’s the original problem that demands our focus!
Are we focusing on the problem? Or the symptoms of the problem?
IDENTIFY THE ROOT PROBLEM.
What do we need to know, in order to do what we have to do? Once you identify the root problem, you can focus on solutions.
